We chose to pop in here for lunch on a Saturday, it looked very inviting from outside. Beautiful restaurant, excellent food. So spotless and pristine. Highly recommended.

Albeit a bit hectic for the waiter. (We were about 22 people) consensus was the food was great, fresh and cooked with love. Nice wine selection with knowledgeable staff and a relaxing atmosphere.

We came here after trawling the streets looking for somewhere to eat dinner.. having really wanted traditional German food; but we gave up. This restaurant was really special. The service was the best we have had in the city & the food was really good too, at a very reasonable price.

We had a really lovely meal here. There is an extensive menu, the service was excellent, food was excellent, proper tablecloths & napkins & a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We had wine by the glass & it was lovely. The children had desserts which they really enjoyed. They gave us complimentary grappa. It was very reasonable - €80 for 4 pizza/pasta,... More

I had a good 3 course meal here and the waitress was very professional unfortunately the owner only seemed interested in people that clearly he knew. He didn't have the common courtesy to reply when I said cheerio and thanks.

We are at Aida, which was only ten mins walk from our hotel, on New Years Eve. We were warmly received by all the staff and they were helpful and friendly all the time we were there. The set menu we had was nicely presented and tasted great. We were not rushed and were able to take our time between... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
