Visited this place 5 years ago and during my last trip to Berlin I had to go back again. Burger and fries lived up to the great memory from years ago. Definitely worth a visit!

The best burgers I have ever had! I chose the goat cheese one and I was amazed (but had difficulties to finish it though). The place is nice and the waiters are really cool. I definitely recommend this place!

Ok burger but you will have to wait. Not sure if 90min wait is worth it to wait for burgers and fries.

As my title says, the staff are EXCELLENT. Burgers are nice, but I will go back because of the friendly staff, not because of the burgers.

If you are a burger lover this is your spot. If you are looking for chicken wings this is not my favourite place. The burger is so juicy and the meat very well seasoned, the fries are amazing. I recommend the birger witj Swiss cheese with mushrooms. Allow at least 30 minutes for your burger to be ready. Service is... More

First night in Berlin and was recommended to the Bird. On arrival we were told the 6 of us had to share a table with others, even though we had booked. Being English, we were not used to this and on talking to the Host, we were re-seated on a private table!! Food was great. Tasty, good sized portions and... More

Juicy, perfectly grilled burgers with that slight arrogant hipsterism Prenzlauer Berg can offer is what you'll find here. Don't get me wrong: the food is, hands-down, mouth-watering, and the selections of drinks is limited and interesting. Avoid showing up without reservations, though, or you'll wait for a very, very long time.

Nice hamburger restaurant, good food and nice atmosphere. Need to book a table in advance if not you are going to queue freezing outside

My friend and I went here whilst browsing for something to eat. I am vegetarian so was hesitant about going to a burger place but I really liked it. I got the fries with smokey cheesy beans. So good! My friend got a salad and some pulled beef on the side and loved it.

...is because the English Muffin buns are the difference between a good burger and a great burger...a no no nonsense place with great burgers and awesome fries, a bit hipster like but still has a charm of a back street bar/pub...well worth the visit

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
