I had heard about this restaurant as a must do, but had never had the chance to go. With a friend in town, I thought it would be a great choice for German/Austrian food and we were not disappointed. The schnitzel was beautifully prepared and...More

Pre-booking required, however, they managed to fit us in! 'Laid back' service, very good quality food but we'd have enjoyed more of a flavour kick for the pricey status of Schneeweiss. Stunning interior though!

The restaurant is quite busy so a reservation is recommended. The kitchen is exclusively traditional German. The food is excellent but the service is rather stiff. Maybe they do not like foreign guests ?

Nice restaurant with strong white interior. The service was extremely helpful and friendly. We had 3 course dinner with nice cold white wine. The food was well prepared and my Wienerschnitzel was impressive. Deserts was cheesecake in a different way and very tasty.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a good friend who said it served the best schnitzel in Berlin and he wasn't wrong. I was looking for somewhere to celebrate a friend's birthday and this seemed the perfect spot. The food was superb from an...More

Visited as a eight person group without reservation. Still everything worked well: place was quiet and sort of idyllic; food (schnitzels and asparagus) was fine, wine good and service excellent. Even the prices were reasonable, Highly recommended!

Whole group of 8 was happy with excellent food and nice Riesling. Good price/quality ratio, friendly staff and quick service. Even set us up a table outside from inside tables.

Wonderful place. Advertised as Alpine cuisine (i.e., Austrian). Best schnitzel we found in Berlin (after many attempts). Great appetizers, entree variety (not just German-like food), service and wine list. Worth a Uber ride to this East Berlin hipster neighborhood.

This restaurant is in Friedrichshain... a less touristy area, but with loads of bars and restaurants. It's rather chic on the inside (perhaps overly so given the food is centered around schnitzel?! - unusual contrast!). Had a lovely aperol spritz (actually two!) and the schnitzel...More

Had heard from a local that this was worth a look and to tell you the absolute truth they must have been there on a different evening or their expectations were not that high. We really wanted to like it but what started out as...More

Friedrichshain
When you arrive at Warschauer Strasse in the heart of
the district, you have found one of Berlin’s party
hotspots. At night in Friedrichshain, the energy is
palpable and the streets of this old worker's quarter
are full of street musicians. On one hand, you may
find a bar with international crowds, electronic
music, long lines and panoramic views - on the other,
an outside venue by old train yards featuring decrepit
