Good queer bar with nice décor, lighting and chilled vibes. Reasonably priced drinks. Only downside is that it was smokey but all bars are like that in berlin

Furniture stoned, provocative works of art, pink-red lighting and a population of all kinds. High-place of alternative culture, one should not be afraid of being smoked; it is undoubtedly the most extreme form of rebellion.

Barbie Bar in Berlin was recommended to me by a queer friend. I went with my partner and it was really lovely and charming.

The bar has a cool look with semi-erotic art, dance music and an old beaten down couch to sit on. But the barman were very rude, intentionally ignoring you even if there's no other customer. This happened each time we ordered (with different personnel). It...such a contrast with the setting, a real buzz kill. I don't recommend it.More

Terrible service and barman was incredibly rude. Refusing service due to us being a mixed group of sexual orientation. Apparently you can not go here if anyone in your group is straight but has no problem ranting about equality?? He also failed to understand that...women can be gay too and completely dismissed this fact. If you want a warm welcoming experience I suggest you avoid this place!!More

As a gay man I experienced homophobia in Berlin's Barbie Deinoff bar from the bartender when visiting the establishment with hen do party dressed in Barbie fancy dress. Bartender refused us service for us being "misogynistic" to him. I don't think he understood what the...word meant and wondered how a group of women could be severely prejudice against women (themselves). Bartender makes a comment "Don't you know what Queer means?" YAS QUEEN I DO!! and you ain't it so take down your "no homophobia" sign because your being hypocritical, not promoting equality. He asks us to leave and we did and went to Matrix club up the road which was fantastic. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!More

We went there after dinner for some beers around 23.00. It was easy to find place to sit and the decor is something different from other places I have been. The music was great and the barman was very polite

On Tuesdays they offer 2 for one on majority of drinks! The bar is really cool and laid back, great for visiting with friends. Cocktails are well made and great value at 2 for 6 euros on a tuesday! It is open late and although...it takes a while to get served the bar had a really nice vibe - be warned smoking friendly so your clothes will smell! Very bad hahahaMore
