A French bistro restaurant with art projects throughout and a huge local following. Make a reservation, and plan to sit in the corners if you are not a local. That said, the service was friendly and helpful, but be prepared for the pace to be leisurely. We all had the steak frites. Steaks were very good. Not good, not great,... More

Tiny. Sweet. Art everywhere. Moules frites. Escargots in sizzling butter. Crisp, cold, crunchy, flavorful romaine and cherry tomatoes. Sautéed zucchini. Honestly, I want to go back tomorrow and the tomorrow after that.

We had dinner at Paris Bar on a visit to Berlin this past spring. Overall, our meal was excellent -- the steak in particular was high quality and well prepared. The service was generally attentive as well. The decor of the restaurant is great, with tons of art world posters/photographs.

Went there without checking tripadvisor and i regret that. Ordered a entrecote with bearnadise sauce and fries. The french fries were over done, the sauce was teerible, only the meat was good. Service was ok but try getting a smile from anyone working there. Not recommendable.

We were seduced based on small plat du jour prices outside but on the contrary it was very expensive, wine of the house ten euro a glass, bottle of water ten euro, auslage ten euro. So after two salads we paid 120 euros for the salads and the wine in total as a couple. Conclusion: don' t go there, it... More

Traditional French-eating with genuine atmosphere. Very nice food, a friendly waiter who offered excellent service makes this a place to return to..

The food was actually ok compared to the price. However, the service was extremely slow. First time ever I've witnessed empty glasses for an entire group half through the meal.

The menu covers three languages - French, German and English. The prices are quite high for lunch. The service was slow. Food nice though.

If you like food "the way it used to be", this is the place for you. Very traditional and a bit expensive ... but very good.

I've no doubt that this restaurant was good in it's day but on the day I visited it was sadly lacking primarily in service and food quality. My entrecôte was cooked as required but the quality of the meat was such that half of it was gristle and the béarnaise sauce was too runny to be enjoyable. Brasserie de Paris... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
