Very yummy food. Highly recommend! If you like Mexican then this is definitely my favourite place in Berlin! Friendly and accommodating staff. Would love to visit again - missing the corn chips And the burrito already!

Mexican lunch place, quick service, pretty straight forward. Only gluten free option is nacho chips, was ok as a snack but not great. Think they should have more gluten free options... but very busy little lunch place and burrito my boyfriend had was huge and filling.

We popped into here just before we boarded the train to the airport, so needed something quick and easy whilst taking in the last bits of Berlin. Was tasty and my boyfriend loved them (he's much more of a burrito fanatic than me). I had the quesadilla. Felt it was a little bland, but probably didn't choose the right toppings!... More

I loved this little Spanish restaurant close to Alexanderplatz. Nice staff, quick service and excellent food in generous portions. A very healthy meal that suits vegans and vegetarians too, in their own words. I really liked it and visited twice as it is not expensive at all. I definitely recommend it.

Dolores had quite a line but the food came quickly - I like that you got to customise your food according to your preferences. We got a vegetarian quesadilla with salsa verde and a beef burrito bowl with peanut salsa. They both tasted delicious! Just be sure to get some guacamole with your meal - you can never have too... My Wife wanted to try Dolores as it was in one of our guide books as having the best burritos in the city. To be honest its not my thing but the food was good and relatively cheap - try the homemade lemonade.

Based on many reviews you would think this is a cool rustic place, but really it's just a fast food joint. You sit on cheap chairs, order your food at the counter and get it on a paper plate. That being said, the place is quite clean, and so are the bathrooms. The menu is quite extensive, and (like most... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
