We came here because Mexican is a good gluten-free, egg and nut free option. Treinta Y Seis did not fail us! The portions were excellent and the food enjoyable.

I was feeling hungry, so I ordered a plate of Nachos to start and Enchiladas for my main dish. The Nachos were good, swimming in gooey melted cheese, and if I had known what a healthy portion they served, I wouldn't have ordered the Enchiladas, but I had. The Enchiladas were good, and again, a generous portion. Not the best... More

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the East Side Gallery. The food was very good (the carrot and ginger soup was ridiculously nice) when considering the lunch prices. Guacamole and sour cream went really nice with the main! Wife says some of the best margaritas she's tried.

Great selection of mexican food. Full of flavour and delicious. Half of the menu is naturally gluten free and the other half can be made gf, which was fantastic. I definitely recommend this to others. Cheap prices too!

Walked past this place on our first night. What a mistake but glad we made up for it. Excellent food served as requested by lovely staff.

Went here whilst on a short trip to Berlin, totally stumbled upon it. The food was excellent; very tasty and well presented. I had the fajitas and they were hands down the best I've every had! The service was very good. When we went there it was quiet and there was only a few occupied tables but the place had... More

We went on our first and then last night in Berlin as we enjoyed it so much. The food was incredibly good- the nachos were super! The service was speedy and polite and the meal was a reasonable price. I recommended it!

Yum! I really enjoyed my meal here. Really good flavours and plenty of food. I got the Enchiladas de Carne and would definitely recommend.

It wasn't planned, but I ended up having my birthday supper here. We'd planned to go to an Italian in Oranienstrasse, but left it a tad too late and we both like Mexican. This place had a good menu, but the thing that made this extra special for me was the fantastic service. I have a nut allergy and Lisloti... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
