I trusted the good reviews on Tripadvisor and invited two colleagues to this place. Everything started out fine - nice mixed seafood starter, great pisco sours, very nice wine. 1.5 hours into the "meal", I notice we're getting hungry - had two bottles of wine and shared a starter, but no main course to be found. A waiter comes out... More

The food was so good that we went again the day after... They have unique things (as locos).... and many other food that sometimes it is difficult to find outside of Chile, as a huge list of chilean wines. The people that work there and the stye of the restaurant give a very nice atmosphere. For sure a place that... More

We had a wonderful dinner at La Tia Rica. It is a small place, so you should make a reservation to be sure. We were very lucky to just walk in from our hotel in the neighborhood. We got in although the restaurant was full on Friday night. The boss of La Tia Rica arranged us a table. Thank you!... More

Very wide range of food, served fresh and tasty. Wine menu obviously has a strong selection and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Must try out.

Wow and wow again. We really found this to be one of the better ethnic restaurants in Berlin. The food and were perfect and could only be topped by the service. This is a cool place to be with friends and family. No fuse and lots of class.

I walked in as a family of 5 and we were squeezed in. Immediately great hospitality from the owner. We liked the chilian food and wine. Recommend the estufado and the huge salads as starter. All portions buffer than expected. Waiting time between courses was on the edge. I spent circa 40 euro per persoon for 3 course diner.

We had a nice evening here starting with a Pisco Sour, together with the starters (Ceviche) and the main dishes everything was excellent hearty food. Check very reasonable for the quality served!

Ended up at La Tia Rica on a Monday evening. Where many restaurants a not that busy this one was full. And as we found out for a reason. Great food for both the appetizers and the main courses accompanied by good wines and all at a modest price level. Very informal setting but definitely worth the visit, you won't... More

There were four of us for dinner here. The place was packed so it was lucky we made a reservation. They have an extensive Chilean menu in German and English. The waitress spoke good English and recommended several specials of the day. We mainly had fish and every dish was exceptional. Be careful where it says 'spicy' - they're not... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
