Can't understand the general enthusiasm of the commentaries : boring food, oversalty, poor wine. Both pretentious and unimaginative cooking. Rote bete carpaccio for 6,50 € is a joke : so salty you can't feel the parmesan or the pinienkerne (were they pinienkerne ??). Probably the result of bad taste and gentrification combined. I can only recommend it if u suffer... More

We went on a Friday night and started sitting at the bar with a drink before we went to our table. The food was superb, everything was beautifully presented and tasted out of this world. We had goat's cheese salad, soup flavoured with ginger and chilli and a potato dish. The bred that accompanied was delicious. The main meals were... More

Follerei doesn't have a really extensive menu - which we liked- great seasonal, modern German food. The owner was very friendly telling us the story of the place. Would definitely recommend.

foellerei deserves all support, being one of the very first to have changed neukollns gastronomical offer. Very decent and honest cuisine. Lacks a little bit of atmosphere, but this is mere a matter of taste. Go there for good, no nonsense food and the very charming owner and staff.

I went here last year. I have to say that the food and the ingredients are not bad at all. BUT. We had to wait more than half an hour although we booked a table. After 20 Minutes they asked: could I offer you some wine because we are sorry you are waiting so long? We said yes and we... More

Found this restaurant by chance, and liked the many vegtarian options, the staff is exceptionally friendly and the food was delicious. Wine comes in little half litre bottles, and the price is very reasonable. I dined at the bar as the restaurant was fully booked, and they made me feel at home.

At the end of a vibrant street with bars and restaurants punctuated by rundown housing and buildings, Foellerei offers more than it delivers; the five of us arrived and were seated in the (very small) indoor restaurant, The selection of beers was interesting and the service friendly and efficient. Unfortunately the menu was rather limited and (for example) bratwurst for... More

Normally you would not be able to find this place and even then you probably would not walk in. But you should because this little place is very basic but serves good food at reasonable prices.

It pains me to write this review as I wanted to enjoy Föllerei so very much. My husband and I went to Föllerei for my birthday dinner. After much deliberation about cuisine, location and price, Föllerei was chosen as the dinner venue, in no small part due to the string of glowing reviews on Tripadvisor. Upon our arrival we were... Staying in Neukolln

Neighbourhood Profile
No Berlin neighbourhood is more popular with the young and jet-set crowd than the old worker's district of Neukölln. With so many Turkish settled here, the area became known as “Little Istanbul“. Today the percentage of foreigners is still high and visitors still frequent the Turkish shisha bars. In the daytime, they also visit the designer shops and sit by the canal in one of the street cafés up and down Westerstrasse or at Maybachufer, having a beer and waving to the sightseeing boats as they float by. But at night, Neukölln is dominated by increasingly young, alternative, and international crowds. This is particularly evident in the northern section of the district where there are many bars, funky clubs, galleries and restaurants. There, the night never seems to end.
