Restaurant managed by friendly japanese staff but the food isn't really good. Basic gyozas and dons. The portions are also small. Nothing compared to what you can eat in Japan.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff and decent food. Had the Sake Don bowl with Teriyaki sauce and flaky salmon and a Sake taster (3x40cl of different Sakes). They didn't have Sushi which was quite unusual.

Basically only one warm dish to choose from, fried tofu in teriyaki sauce with or without rice. Otherwise service was good, tea was good. Probably delicious for meat eaters, but if you're vegetarian there's more interesting places to be.

I came here on a whim as I was walking by and noticed they were advertising some foods that I had eaten whilst in Japan- and I was pleasantly surprised to see that the staff themselves were Japanese, and so friendly- we ended up chatting...More

The menu is small what I like and the food is ok but not great, a bit boring and the portions are too small. The place is small and just fine for groups up to 4 people. The street is too busy and at the...More

We stumbled into Cocoro after wondering around Kreuzberg and had a really lovely time. The staff are very warm and friendly and the food is clean and well portioned. The restaurant also offers many green teas and sake wines which come at reasonable prices. I...More

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
