My suggestion is that you go on a weekday if you'd like to enjoy the lovely seating in the restaurant, there are only a few tables to sit at, and the place is packed. It would be wise of them to expand their seating area. They're packed for good reason, the cakes are incredible! One important thing to be aware... More

We went looking for this cafe after reading the reviews on here and I'm not one to turn down coffee and cake!! It took us ages to find but that may have more to do with our sense of direction and no knowledge of Berlin. When we got there it was empty which concerned me a little but I think... More

Great desserts! We had two, one cheese cake and one chocolate cake- they were both unusual! Such rich flavors! Superb!

Went in to have coffee and cake. Was a bit crowded and stuff members weren't very welcoming. Bought cake to go and found out later it had a hair in it 😞. The cake was yummy but by this time we couldn't care less

Fabulous cheesecake in a lovely setting. Service was a bit slow with only one person working, who quite often would be making coffees for walk in trade.

Not that much of a cheesecake fan but this place is really nice. Great atmosphere. Not many places to sit inside but the waitress is lovely and the cheesecakes were out of this world. Am definitely now a cheesecake fan. Very good price too. Bill came to around €50 for 7 cheesecakes and 7 hot drinks. Would highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I came here in the search for gluten free cheesecake and we weren't disappointed! Absolutely wonderful. My boyfriend had normal new york style cheese cake... I just tried the cheese bit and not the biscuit & it was amazing!! You must go!

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
