Big variety of cakes which you can also take for takeaway. Small space which is always full. It's expensive but they are worth it.

The cake shop is such a cute location with nice cake. However, the asian staff administator with glasses was extremely rude. My friends got a great cakes and mine however I didnt like and when kindly asked for changeover just simply for another cake, was given this quote "its not my problem that you didnt like it". I myself work... More

Good looking but average taste. Would not go again. A bit overrated. We liked the cappuccino and the cheesecake.

If you would like to have nice cakes, this is the place to go! We enjoyed their Black Forrest (Schwarzwald) and the Mixed Fruit Tarte (Gemischtes Obst), which were truly amazing and tasty cakes. I could tell that these cakes were made using the right ingredients and were fresh. Price-wise Der Kuchenlanden is not cheap, but I would rather pay... More

My friend reserved a table for 8 of us for coffee and cake in the early part of the afternoon. The selection of cakes was fantastic. Something to suit everyone. A few of my friends had the quiche to start with which looked very tasty and very good value for money. Coffees, teas and an array of cold fruity drinks... More

The atmosphere in the shop is very nice with cozy seats. We really liked our cakes, I'd give the creme brûlée cake 4/5 and the Nougat cake 3/5. Bummer that they charge significantly more to eat-in!

We had a salty caramel tart and a Lemon tarte. Both were amazing! There are so many more kinds of cakes Cookies and macarons so everybody should find something he really likes. If you want to have great Piece of cake go to "Der Kuchenladen".

Great choice of cakes and generous portions. It was busy when we were there mid afternoon on a Friday and we were lucky to get a seat inside, although there was additional seating outside.. Will visit again when next in Berlin.

The cafe has a good variety of cakes and how delicious they look! I tried a cheesecake with cherries and poppy seeds and it was incredible! They have some totally unexpected recipes!!!!!

Went in around four. My husband had coffee which he enjoyed, I had tea. Hard to choose as everything looked so good. We shared the apple tart. Delicious piece of tart, with gorgeous almond pastry. Came in at just under €10 which I though fair. Comfortable seating and nice decor. I would go again.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
