My partner and I visited the Lucky Leek on a Friday night and had a truly wonderful meal! We opted for the 5 course menu and every dish was beautiful! The service was also completely fabulous with all serving staff very knowledgeable on each dish! Great value for the excellent food and service!

A must visit place for vegetarians/vegans. Had to make a reservation. Opted for a 3 course meal with recommended cider to go with the meal. I am not sure whether to call it as fusion as some dishes contained elements from different cuisines. The food is amazing with equally good service. Price is not bad either... Definitely recommend it...

This is a must if you are in Berlin, even if you aren't vegan! The food is superb, and the waitress I had was very nice. The courses were well timed (not too quick, not too slow), and I also really liked how they allow you to mix and match which appetizer, main course, and desert you would like- a... More

The Lucky Leek is s busy restaurant and I recommend making a reservation. We did not make a reservation but took our chances since it was a Monday night and fortunately there was a table. We ordered the 3 course meal and the 5 course meal, each came with different selections for each course. Each course was delicious. I can... More

We opted to have dinner at this restaurant with very few expectations, and were subsequently blown away by the food. We chose the 3-course dinner, each of which included an amazing variety of flavors and textures. The presentation was nothing less than beautiful, and we both agreed that the dessert was exquisite. The service was wonderful, and we particularly noted... More

Our 5 course meal was amazing. Everything about it blew me away: a lot of flavors, very experimental and very well balanced. The service was stunning and one of the best I received in Germany. One little thing I would mention is the outdoor seating wasn't particular comfortable and really crowded. But I would definitely return any time I visit... More

This restaurant in the world captitol city of vegan eating confirms again that you prepare Gourmet Dining as vegan as well. We had a five course dinner on the patio to road, quite and romantic. Friendly staff and perfect quality food nicely displayed

Like a previous reviewer, we reserved on the website, and only could get a table at 8:30 PM, but when we got there, the place was quite empty, so that was a bit strange. We would have liked an earlier hour. And, if we had an earlier hour, we would have left and found someplace else to eat, because the... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
