Who actually writes positive views for these kind of places? Went there tonight - it was awful. Späzle, they've never been to Southern Germany for sure. Only good point was Rothaus Beer, otherwise a disaster.

Excellent local german food. Food is delicious and very affordable. Go with time so you can have the ultimate experience.

There are not a lot of places where you can get a Rothaus on draft, so this is already a good recommendation in itself for the Esswerk. I think their menu is a bit analytic, but the food is great. If you can sit outside...More

Small bistro type restaurant run by a family in a residential area, german food. Loved the Kaiserschmarrn mit Apfelmus (dessert), atmosphere and price. The waiter wasn't as friendly as the owners.
