I don't know how they can justify their prices.. my cappuccino was tasteless, my wife's tea very average. At least my wife had a gluten free cake which she enjoyed. The service was ok, but not friendly. The place needs redecorating.

It's a perfect place with positive vibes! I went once with my children. The staff entertained them and they were extra friendly.

I had undoubtfully a great experience in Berliner Kaffeerosterei and would definitely recommend it for tasty breakfasts and amazing snacks. Latte macchiatos, salmon sandwich and cheesecake we have ordered were delicious. Very well done! I must also note that every dish is presented in a highly esthetical manner. At my neighbor’s table I saw the waiter serving coffee together with... More

Nice Roast House for coffee heads. Although, it is not difficult to find good coffee in Berlin, so it is difficult to justify the prices here. But the SERVICE is always friendly and efficient. The pastries are often yummy, but I have had some "just average" choices. Nice setting with free wifi and plenty of comfortably seating inside and out.

When I am in Berlin I have to go. The cakes are made in craftsmanship. On some days you can watch the confectioners. What a great selection of coffees. This place gets 10 points.

It's one of my favorite shops in Berlin to get my coffee beans for my Espresso machine. Very professional staff, kind and experts for coffee. Also take your time for a freshly brewed coffee and piece of cake there, it's delicious!

Visted to get the German kaffee und kuchen experience. Greeted with an extremely detailed menu of teas and coffees as well as some great hot chocolates. I had Darjeeling tea which was served in a pot with an ill fitting strainer and was given hot milk to accompany. When you're being charged €5 for the privilege you expect the best!... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
