Not the friendliest stuff working there -also, not rude at all, just cold-, but the most amazing flat white I ever had until now.

Believe it or not, we had each a coffee. The coffee had a pleasant aroma and was prepared with care. Good place for a casual chat, if you get a table. It was quite busy. Courses are also available.

Place was alright. But not my favourite in the neighbourhood. I really liked the place down the block at number 21 Oderberger. (Much more cozy and better coffee.) But this place is ok too.

I know this place for many many years. From the beginning it was a great place to have a good cup of coffee, but if you really need something more than a coffee, you should visit this place!

For your coffee stop, whilst strolling around or shopping in Prenzlauer Berg,Bonanza would be excellent. You have a choice between several types, skillfully prepared by the staff. The shop - in fact, it's not a restaurant, as they only offer some cookies or so, at an extra charge - offers a pleasant atmosphere, and you'll find yourself among several other... More

We were there for breakfast and got great coffee with croissants. Do not expect to get food beyond a croissant or a cookie – so if you want a full breakfast you should go somewhere else. The place is not so easy to spot on distance. They have different types of coffee of high quality at reasonable price.

There are no disputes in the matters of taste. My coffee, straight short, pure Ethiopian sort, tasted sour. But it was definitely something to remember. They have only two sorts and tasting another brand would take another twenty minutes of waiting. Boy, they do take their time. Once a place becomes a cult, giving it an average rating stands out.... Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
