I really liked this place, it is quite small, but cosy in the evening. The hot dishes very excellent (don't remember the name) and also the tea is recommendable.

Rude service, I asked what was inside their sommer rolls (I'm allergic to onions) and the waitress answered "I've got no idea". When we had to pay we found out the don't take credit cards; being with a newborn, my wife and I told them we'd go to withdraw money from the bank, the followed us to make sure they'd... More

This is a place with a small menu but what they serve is very good and very cheap for people on a budget. The food is served quickly and with little fuss which makes for a more fast-food experience. I had the Goi Mien (5.5o euros) which was a stir fry of chicken with veg and glass noodles. My partner... More

Horrible experience! I went there with two friends, ordered the daily special and a mango lassi each. We also gently asked for a glass of tap water and they served us a VERY small glass of warm water. When my german friend asked for more water they said that they would have charged us 60 cents each for it, so... More

Nice little Viet spot with a cheap menu, perfect for a quick bite. The beef pho was decent, nothing special but does the trick.

Amazing staff, fast (it takes only 1 min to order), only two min for the drinks to be served and five minutes for the food. The drinks are cheap and fresh (2,5 Euros for a fresh pinapple juice!) and the food even better 4,90 Euros for a great chicen rice dish. Simply amazing!

It is the best value for money Vietnamese place we've found so far in Berlin. Food options are only a handful but very decent, all with vegetarian options. Service is kind, fast and the place is rather busy with seating inside or outside.

The food you get for the price is really good. I eat there on a regular basis and have never been dissapointed. Not a restaurant to sit around in for hours, but perfect for a quick bite that tastes great!

The title really says it all. A small neighbourhood eatery. people sit together at crowded tables. The menu, like the venue, is very basic. We were hungry and ordered one beef soup and two glass noodle salads with two glasses of a quite decent Riesling. The portions were large, tasty and fresh and the price was very friendly indeed. A... Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
