This place is really authentic. Their quesadillas and tacos with carnitas are almost as good as in Mexico. Just a shame that their staff is all American, no Mexicans whatsoever. Even the decor was traditional: like you would find it in the streets of Mexico,...More

Maria Bonita is a very small "restaurant" focused on selling Mexican street food exclusively. Considering myself a Mexican food expert( I lived in Mexico for 30 years) I can say that their food is quite authentic....mostly. The burritos are enormous and have a whole lot...More

I ordered this restaurant via delivery app. The first time quesadillas were out of this world, spicy, juicy so so tasty (I got the Argentinian meat kind). Burritos were a bit beanny but okay (got both tinga de pollo and puerco especial- which was much...More

Fantastic, casual Mexican cafe. Food was delicious and portions good. Highly recommend. Cash only. There is an atm nearby. No toilet but the bar next door were happy for us to use the facilities.

First of all this is not a restaurant, or even a bistro. It is a fast food takeaway with about six seats at a breakfast type bar. The menu only has a few things on it.... burritos, tapas, or quesidilla one version of each and...More

Hello, yes, we are a very small Mexican fast food place, just like many in Mexico. We never pretended to be anything else. We offer exactly 14 bar table seats inside, some of them allow you to watch how the cooks in the open kitchen...More

Maria Bonita is fabulous! All dishes I had at this tiny bistro were more than tasty, it really tastes like Mexico! I loved the quesadilla de carne! Be aware that the place is really small, especially in winter it may be hard to get a...More

The food served at "Maria Bonita" is freshly made and makes difference in terms of taste. I ordered a burrito with a lot of spicy avocado sauce, - and there was so much of this slushy sauce that all meat and dough soaked with it....More

In a city where Mexican food is hard to find, this place is good but not incredible. Food was a bit greasy and heavy for me but some good flavours. As many other reviewers have said this is a quick place to grab a bite...More

We came here specifically for the horchatas because it seems to be the only place in Berlin that does this rice, cinnamon beverage. We were so disappointed. So sad because we love this drink. The horchata here, though only a cheap 2,50€, was so watery...More

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
