Super friendly staff and really good food. There were other staples too, but we opted to wait for the 5pm start of dinner to have the BBQ. A slightly confusing insistence on having a minimum two portions of whatever you order policy, but otherwise a funky place and damn tasty food.

My first time eating Korean food so I did not know what to expect. The place look cool, and had long tables and a lot of red lights. Did not know what I was eating tho, but it tasted very good and all in our group of 7 liked it. The price was also not so bad for what you... More

Ok, nice job on the interior decoration, but hey, I go to a restaurant for food and service, not to look at whatever your idea of "cool" is, I can go to a museum if I want to look at something pretty...No matter how cool you make it look, you can't justify the prices. Food isn't great, and service is... More

Make sure to book in advance! The bimbimbap is one of the best I had so far. Wish that the size would be a little bit bigger tho! Pan fried dumplings are a must eat too!

Great twist to Korean BBQ. Try the menues where they assist you on cooking them on the table and spice them also for you. We had a dinner for 8 people and the food was delicious. The seating is at long tables which is great for bigger groups to have a fun evening. The beer selection was also great. One... More

I've been to Korea many times and really like Korean food. Therefore, I immediately agreed to meet here with friends for dinner. When I saw the place and its patrons, I was sceptical. Kimchi Princess looks like one of those countless hipster hangouts, we have here in Berlin. But instead of the usual average hipster food, clueless and arrogant servers... More

Took my wife here before a concert. Booked a table online on a weeknight. Service was friendly. Enjoyed an American craft beer and some cocktails. Great BBQ and a hip crowd. Would go back for sure.

Very popular korean restaurant where its advisable to book if you are coming from uptown, its unlikely you'll get a walk in table. Its noisy and busy with refectory style seating but there are some tables for couples - best for groups though. Service is quick but can be haphazard....warning, when the menu says spicy they mean it...there will be... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
