Walk down this street and find this cute place for Tapas. You're running around shopping or passing through and you'd like a nice place to eat without the whole "sit down ceremony". Yes you can sit down here -at high top tables but it's casual and convenient. Not the fussy restaurant thing. Order a little or a lot. Food comes... More

They had me at "all you can eat" :) Great friendly service. Good wine. Good company. What more could you want?

We were walking by and just went in randomly. The place was full but in 5 minutes we got a table for four. The service was perfect and the food was amazing. House wine and home made sangria were an excellent choice for tapas. My friends who have had tapas in Madrid said that this restaurant were pretty much better... More

I would guess this is the closest you could get to Spanish ambience in Berlin. All Spanish staff and gourmandisers all over the world. Stop there for a early nights appetizers. Tasty tapas and very nice vino de casa.

The tapas are just OK here. Won't go back, but was a nice snack before dinner. The tomato sauce on the papas and meatballs is lacking that Spanish kick. Shrimp are worth not getting. The calamari was fine. Just a marginal spot.

If you are looking for a calm, romantic place with lots of tasty food than yosoy is the place for you. We made a reservation before and didnt wait for a table when we arrive. I suggest you make the same since the place is always full. The food was good but the portions are not big so if you... More

We visited Yosoy last night as our hotel is extremely close. We waited at the bar 30 minutes as we did not have a booking. Staff were lovely! Food prices were extremely reasonable and there was no rush for our table back. Would 100% recommend this place!

I think we were very fortunate to get a meal here without booking. It was very busy on a Thursday evening and thrumming with life. Great ambience. Eric our waiter was very busy but also very attentive to us and really friendly. The food was fantastic and great value. So glad we went - and that we got in!

After watching movies in nearby old cinema we want just to relaxed and have a beer. So we just came to this tapas restaurant, it seem very popular in this neighborhood , it is not even dinner time yet but the place is packed, luckily they have nice place in tapas bar so we just enjoy tapas until dinner also.... Description
Welcome to "YOSOY"
the Spanish Tapas-Bar in Berlin Mitte.
Tapas strongly belong to the daily life in Spain and contain all the small appetizing cold and warm spanish food from which we are offering a choice.

The origin of Tapas lies in Andalusia and is closely connected with a GLASS of sherry or wine. One says that the piece of bread, the slice of ham or the cheese which was put as a "lid" on the sherry or wineglass, was put around to retain the strange aroma in the GLASS, that's the origin of the Tapa-culture in Spain.
In addition, the pleasure and the way of life came naturally to lean against a bar and to talk to friends, strangers, the family or the landlord of this and that having a small lunch and a glass of sherry or wine and lose the whole time of the day. Hopefully, we have created such a comfortable place with our Tapas-Bar.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
