Decent location, decent service and decent meal. The gentleman who waited on me gave me the best recommendations, and served me like mo one else existed in the world but me.

One of the best pizzas I've ever tasted. They had very different pizzatoppings but it was hard to decide which one sounded most delicious. The staff were really friendly and funny too. Definitely a place that I would go to every friday eve if I lived close by.

Our first evening in Berlin my friend and I decided to eat here at La Forneria, Kantstrasse 31. I'm so glad we went there! We got excellent fresh and well prepared food, a friendly welcoming service. The waiter was very service minded, friendly and had a nice kind of humour. Three times we went here for dinner and were newer... More

I went there with friends for dinner. Our hotel receptionist did recommend it for us when we told him we would like to eat Italian food. It's easy to find it as it's directly on the main street. Staff are friendly and funny. Service was quick. Pizza was great and prices are reasonable.

We went here for lunch and chose two pasta dishes from the lunch menu, one Spaghetti with King Prawns; a little dry.... One homemade maccaroncini with filet tips, very tasty and juicy. The waiter was very service minded and friendly. I could very well go back here for a meal!

Stopped in past on the way to a Hertha Berlin game, when visiting the city. The restaurant was pretty quiet but looked warm and inviting. Service was pretty laid back, but friendly with it. Our order was taken quickly and the food was cooked freshly to order. My wife's salami pizza was cooked in an authentic wood oven and tasted... More

This is one of the worst restaurant I've ever tried in Berlin. Even the ingredients listed on the menu where not the same I found on my pizza. The waiters where just hanging around talking each other and I had to wait a lot just to capture their attention.

I decided to eat here on the first night in Berlin. The restaurant was quite busy but the atmosphere was great and welcoming. The staff were very attentive and good humoured. Great food and wine at a very reasonable price, overall a brilliant first night in the city.

We decided to eat here on our first night, as we had travelled all day and thought some pasta would fill our empty stomachs! A member of staff actually came out to speak to us when we were looking at the menu on the door, I was a bit under pressure to eat there then but my partner said he... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
