If you are looking for a great, slow-food Italian cusine, restaurant “Peperoncino” is a fantastic choice! Good location, very friendly staff and marvellous food. My absolute favourite is beetroot ghocchi with parmesan sauce, they have dishes with figs and goat’s cheese, truffles etc. Everything is...More

First time there and I hope next one will be soon. Great pasta dishes - we tried three different ones and all were great.

We had a lunch in this restaurant. Both of the pastas we had tasted good. The negative side here is the service: when we came to the restaurant, the waitress was smoking and did that sitting on a chair that blocked the entrance to the...More

Loved this place. Terrific Italian food. Fresh, made on site and some I’d never tasted before: like goats cheese and fig ravioli, which was delicious. Also had a prawn and chilli pasta that was absolutely delicious. My 9 yo loved the gnocchi with tomato sauce...More

Food was very average: we had pasta and 1 gnocchi dish. Pasta was a disappointment (the sauces didn’t taste as if they were made fresh), but gnocchi with truffle were good. The staff were very nice and friendly, and the restaurant is very welcoming overall....More

As all my previous visits it was great. Like eating with my Italian family. I take offence to all my friends who do not go there during their Berlin visit against my recommendations! :-)

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
