I went there for in a business yet relaxed context, we were a big group and everything went smoothly. The staff is extremely friendly, the service was quite quick considering our number, I had some käsespätzle and they were really tasty, no one complained about their food. Drinks were good as well, great athmosphere. Really nice place.

This is a restaurant that we have been visiting for many years and the place gets better and better with each visit. My twin brother Stephen and I had been visiting some of the fantastic craft beer bar's in this area when we came across Seeblick and we were always going to visit here. It's a lovely looking restaurant with... More

The food is outstanding, the best tasting gluhwein in Berlin, desserts are excellent. We arrived to the restaurant with a three-year-old girl, and when it was time for dessert, the restaurant owner asked her to choose a cake she loves - and the toddler was very happy with that attention.

We found this restaurant while wandering around Prenzlauer Berg in what was East Berlin. The restaurant staff speak English and have a duplicate Menu written in English. The food is traditional German, and there is lots of it. Great atmosphere with mostly local patrons.

We found this restaurant by wandering around the neighbourhood we were staying in in East Berlin. BTW, this is a great neighbourhood to stay while visiting Berlin. Quiet but with easy access by Metro to the city centre. I was ready for a traditional meal reminiscent of my mother's cooking so the first attraction was the posted menu. The second... More

Went here for dinner. The chicken was not very tender, like iT was cooked way too long. All the rest was also rather tasteless. The service was ok.

We were walking around looking for somewhere to eat, and stumbled upon Seeblick! A great little find... The service was friendly, the schnitzels were fantastic, and all washed down with a fresh cold beer!! Couldn't fault it at only 28 euros for two of us!

Stumbled upon Seeblick while wandering Mitte in search of a bar at around 530 on a Saturday night. Bar attendant extremely helpful and fun. Came back the next day for lunch and had traditional German noodle dosh which was vegetarian to boot! Excellent value for money.

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
