VIsit started ok, we got seats quickly, we ordered two salads for starters and two pizzas with beer. We got salads after pizzas came, but not until we asked of them. And still only one. I asked for another beer same time we got salads, didn't ever get one. Finally When we got bill they tried to invoice extra. Pizzas... More

Great service and really nice pizzas! The restaurant is located under the railway which adds an interesting feature to the place. Highly recommended!

We visited Berlin as part of a trip for my dad's 75th Birthday (9 in total) from Ireland. We were really impressed with the welcome the staff gave us and they were very helpful and relaxed with us. The pizza's were amazing (really big and tasted great). The waiter made my dad feel special and even got us a round... More

Came here for an anniversary dinner and wasn't disappointed. The restaurant has a very cozy, Mediterranean feel with the plush curtains on entrance and the painted ceilings. The setting under 4 arches of a railway bridge gives it an individual feel. Service was fast considering the size of the restaurant, the staff were really friendly and spoke enough English to... I visit restaurants for about 3 times a week all over Europe. I can say the pizza I had was realy one of the best I have ever had. The food that was served tables around me looked great and of a high italian standard. The athmosphere is nice, mainly because of the decor/interior, ceiling painted etc. So because of... More

The restaurant is very popular with both tourists and locals so booking is a wise choice. However we did not and were lucky to get a table. Althought very busy the service was excellent and very quick. We both had a pizza all named after an Apostel and it was excellent and very big and filling. They also serve their... More

Always worth the visit...Pizza with massive Scampi's and lemon sounds strange but put some fresh ground black pepper on there and you are on the way to heaven...this is a Berlin institution and is still going strong, vist when you can, get some Pizza!

This was another stop on the giant group train during my last visit. 12 Apostel is really good if you need to go somewhere with a big group. It has tons of space, making large family-style tables easy for them to accommodate. On top of that, it happens that 12 Apostel makes really solid pizzas and other Italian fare that... More

Catered for a group of 15 hungry marathon runners without any issues. Great location. Within walking distance of Arcotel John F. Fantastic range of pizzas. Huge portions. Reasonably priced. Nice loud atmosphere. Very enjoyable evening.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
