Really enjoyed Sophieneck! Nice German cooking (Bratwurst & Sauerkraut), good beer and friendly service in a very typical decor.

It is a delightful traditional German restaurant. We just wanted a light dinner after an exhaustive day of travel. It was perfect. We ordered a typical brat wurst with potatoes and sauerkraut with some great German beer. It was excellent. The service was great. The...More

Amazing ham hock, and special mention to the waiter called Rukiye. She was really nice and committed, dealing with a lot of tables at the same time in a very efficient manner, highly recommended.

Had a lovely traditional German meal in a quaint setting. Very much enjoyed the Berliner meatball to start, the boiled pork knuckle for main and the apple strudel for dessert. Was treated well by our waitress Zora and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Had to try German food on our first night in Berlin. I had the pork knuckle and my wife had the sausage. The serving size was very good and tasty. Not as good as Munich but not far off! Really close to the city centre.

Excellent food! One of the best Eis Bein I've ever had!! Prompt and courteous service made the evening extremely enjoyable. The environment was also very pleasant; a traditional corner pub with plenty of tables both indoors and out! Highly recommended.

We visited in August with our teenage son to introduce him to traditional German food. We were not disappointed. We were given a very friendly welcome. The restaurant has a good range of beer. The food was good quality - the wurst was especially good....More

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
