Me and my family went to have brunch today. The personal was kind and humorous, but i noticed that the more people come in, the more stressful they get. But the waiter tried his best and he did good. The only real bad thing was that they brought brunch before they brought bread, and brunch mostly consisted of food that... More

My husband and I had dinnerlast night at Keno and found it excellent. The food outrageously good- we had the goat cheese and arugula salad and two of the asparagus specials. We had great apple strudel for dessert. Service was excellent. We will definitely go there again.

This is a wonderful restaurant serving German traditional food. The portions are generous and tasty. It is off Kurfürstendamm Strasse, a short walk. The atmosphere is classic old world charm with chandeliers and waiter in black & white uniforms. The menus were in German and English, the waiting staff were accommodating for those of us who did not speak German.... More

This restaurant was recommended by the Concierge at Kempinski Hotel Bristol Berlin Germany. We ate there on Christmas Eve 2014. Food, Service and Atmosphere was the best so far of four countries we have visited on our tour of Europe. Our waiter was AWESOME !!! His name was Audi. Everything he recommended was excellent. The wine was outstanding. Audi made... More

This place should be closed down. Evidently run by complete morons with no experience in how to run a good restaurant. We were sleazed over by over friendly male members of staff, who quickly scuttled off when we disputed our bill and brought out a woman with a hideous attitude to threaten us. The problem.. Well being a lacto-ovo vegetarian... More

I pop in this restaurant every now and then when visiting Berlin. I would say the whole package is very nicely under control - food/wines - service - atmosphere. This time we had an antipasto assortment, which was really delicious - and enough as a starter. With Pinot Grigio - yes! For main course I had liver - as I... More

Had 2 meals here, each delicious home cooked food. Beautiful, calm atmosphere, excellent service and a great price! Highly recommend the goat's cheese salad to start!

We dropped in because it was near our hotel and seemed nice, but found it to be expensive and the food was average. Most dishes were too salty. I had a salmon dish with spinach, and the spinach was too salty to eat. The other dishes we ordered, shrimp scampi and a liver dish, were also too salty. Only the... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
