Hotel front desk recommended this restaurant. When we got there, they put us in a table and few minutes came two guys that were smoking outside but seemed that it was coming smoke out of them, they stink. The waiter was kind of rude and extremely impatient demanding us to choose the drinks. Well, there was nothing with pork (snitzel)... More

The food is fair ... the environment is cozy and traditional. During the toy fair, everywhere is crowd and hard to find seats... here maybe one of the choose.

We went here for something nice for breakfast/lunch. We arrived at 11.15am but they'd stopped doing breakfast at 10am and everything on the menu was mainly a main...nothing you'd have for lunch. We ordered the 2 sausages and the camembert cheese dish...these were 6 euros and 8 euros. It wasn't great. We came here as it's one of the top... More

If you're after traditional Bavarian place and dishes then this is just what you're after. Good selection of both food and beers. Popular with tourists and locals so booking table is advisable. Friendly staff (well, most of it).

Don't expect "cuisine"--that'd be a misnomer in much of Franconia--but our quick luncheon was entirely pleasant and satisfying, and absolutely decent as regards "value for money." Can't really say much since we restrained ourselves to a single dish each: gulash soup (local style) and bread dumplings with mushrooms in a cream sauce; both were tasty and substantial. Service was unusually... More

We came for the Paulaner beer. Which is fabulous!!! BEST! But loved the atmosphere. The waitress was dressed up in traditional German outfit. Very cozy spot! Had to order a pretzel and soup. BEST soup in Germany! Lovely place. Must go!

On any trip to Germany I always try to find a Paulaner's tied house to sample their beer and food and on a recent trip to Nuremberg this was no exception. The restaurant has a very good location just inside the Old Town and near to the train station so is ideal for anyone who wants to get a quick... More

This place serves dishes from the local cuisine, you can expect large, meaty portions with potatoes and/or cabbage. The place is quite small and often crowded.

We walked into the restaurant since it was one of the few places opened. We didn't have a reservation, but still were allowed to go in, as long as we left before 8pm, when the table was reserved for. That worked out good, despite the rude service from the waitress, who didn't seem pleased to serve us. Still 10 to... More
