This is a lovely small establishment where they take great care of you with a clear personal touch. The staff / owner were superb - looked after us so well and went to great lengths to explain every dish we had and the accompanying wine....Food was simply superb - seriously impressed by the quality of ingredients, how perfectly everything was put together cooked, and presented. This place is a tiny hole in the wall that delivers Michelin grade food. We had a seafood ceviche that was so good I am still thinking about it two weeks later. If its still on the menu, you must order it. Every dish was...exquisitely prepared and plated. The waitress was so helpful and spoke good English. They also assisted us with an English version of the menu, which is handwritten on a blackboard. Our only regret was not going here more than once during our short stay in Munich. Located on a relatively low-key, residential street. We arrived on a relatively quiet Firday night. The staff were unable to speak too much in the way of English; so we swapped over to French, which proved to quite an immersive experience. The food is good...quality, bistro classics. I went with a fois gras starter followed by a Bouillabaisse. Both were extremely good. My over half was impressed by her fish main of Dourade. The experience transported us off to the Paris left bank for a couple of hours and away from sausages, pretzels, saukerkraut and beer for a couple of hour (at least)s. One to be sought out.More

I booked Atelier Gourmet a while back for my boyfriends birthday. Firstly, I’d like to thank Jenny for her excellent communication and for accommodating my pescatarian menu request. We had the five course menu with matching wines, and every dish was full of flavour as...well as beautiful presentation. I was especially impressed with the size of each portion. The place was intimate with friendly staff and each dish was perfectly spaced out. I have visited many restaurants and this place was special. I had a great time at this restaurant. I was so excited to get sauerkraut with my meal, because I usually can't get it in Germany! They deem it to be old-fashioned food. I enjoyed the beer and an unusual bottle of red wine.

I booked this restaurant by chance, not quite sure what to expect. What a surprise! I can definitely recommend it. We were a good mix at the table. One eating everything, one no meat but fish and one vegetarian. This was absolutely no issue for...them and we were all catered for. We had a four course meal, each course better than the other. Myself and my partner enjoyed a date night in this wonderful restaurant during a family holiday last weekend. We enjoyed 4 wonderful nights in Munich and this gem of a restaurant was our favourite overall.
