I had last week an excellent dinner at Peony Lounge. This elegant restaurant serves a mix of Vietnamese and Thai food. I had crispy wanton dumplings (excellent), followed by tad pai with shrimp (also excellent). I asked for Kirin beer which is on the menu...but wasn’t available. Service was excellent.More
Despite high ranking and reasonable prices (one gets what one pays for...) with a very nice ambiance, ample free tables (indicative that it's not the hottest place in town), with very nice and prompt service. Horrible food. Sorry.
We visited on a midweek evening, and the restaurant was half full. I started with spring rolls, followed by fried rice with prawns, and my wife chose chicken with peppers, morels, spring onions and rice. Everything was nicely spiced and cooked and presented, and the...service friendly, fast and efficient. We'd definitely return next time we're in Munich. The decor is restrained but very attractive, making this a better choice for a romantic evening than most Asian restaurants.More

This is one of the best Viet restaurants I’ve been to in Munich! I got the fried duck breast and totally loved it! The meat was crunchy but not oily and was complimented by the stir fried vegetables in a tasty sauce. They also offer...Thai dishes which is a sensible addition to the menu given how similar the two countries’ cuisines are. The restaurant is attractive, artsy and sparkling clean and filled with aromatic scent from fresh lilies. The waitress is very nice and friendly. Overall I would totally come back to this restaurant!More

We visited this restaurant with my family. The food was great and the owner is very friendly. Fish, beef and duck are all very nice.
The staff of the restaurant is very friendly politely. Parking is quite easy. The interior is surprisingly cool. The food is good but average Asian cuisine. However the value for money is very ok.
We had a Great experience. The Pad Thai was pretty tasteful and fresh. The spicy was served separate from the dish itself. So we could add the amount of Spicy we preferred. The Weizen beer was good. Staff was really polite and friendly.
I love Asian food, and have visited lots of Thai restaurants, many of them in Thailand. This place offers a decent dining experience, with good service, interesting interpretation of Thai dishes, and reasonable value.
