I went 4 times to this restaurant, twice it deserved 5 points, and twice 2 points, hence my mediocre rating. I don't think there will be a 5th time: pathetically bad service tonight (long waits for everything including glasses of wine), food was lukewarm so...we complained and it was sent back to the kitchen. It came back slightly warmer but... awfully salty ! Vengeance from the chef or the waiters ? Those didn't seem to care enough even for that... Last time.More

Headed over at 9pm when I arrive on the first night in Munich, they had 2 branches along the same street. Entered the first and was told it was full and was told I could check their 2nd outlet. When I headed over to the...2nd outlet, though there were seats, I was told that the kitchen was closed. I went to get a pizza nearby and when I went back to the first outlet, I was told I could order takeaway. I ordered a lamb set but when I went back to the hotel, they served me chicken with very oily spinach. Sums up the experience.More

Delicious lamb and rice at Chopan last night, we had one main course each and ate far too fast, it was just so good! Absolutely great team and can't wait to return!

We arrived without a reservation and the staff quickly re-organised settings to be able to accommodate us despite the fact that they were clearly busy with guests and take-away orders. Restaurant is nicely decorated and the menu offers lots of choice. We each ordered a...starter and a main course as well as a bottle of wine; the bill came to just over EUR50 which was exceptionally good value given the venue, the portion sizes and the quality of the food. Everything we ate was DELICIOUS. We were so impressed that we broke one of our rules - we ate at the same restaurant the following evening. (We had only 2 nights in Munich and Chopan was our dinner venue for both of them....if we return to Munich, it will be our dinner venue of choice again).More

Our first experience of afghani food - delicious and tasty, sampled everyone's order and all were great. Highly recommended if you are in Munich - and friendly fun service too!

I ordered 2 Appetizers and one main. We loved all dishes. The lamb, the pumpkin and the eggplant dish was phenomenal. The delivery was just on time.

Well, I am a big fan of eating and that has been a hard task in this quarantine. However, scrolling through Liferando I found this place. I was shocked by the food. It is incredibly tasty. The food has a lot of condiments so it...can feel heavy in the stomach. Apart from that, it is a great spot to try something new. I recommended it. I will for sure order again.More

Best Afghani restaurant ive been to hands down. After speaking with the owner we could tell he was passionate and energetic and it is complemented into the food. I would visit munich just for the food here.

Booking is highly recommended as this place always seems to be full whenever I visit. No surprise when the food and service is so good.

The food was fantastic and the service spectacular! My husband and I ordered two different lamb dishes. Both our meals had tender flavourful lamb and interesting side dishes. I particularly loved the spinach and am hoping to get the recipe to make it in Canada!...We also had a sampling of the pumpkin appetizer - wonderful! The service was fantastic and the price very reasonable, we highly recommend this conveniently located restaurant.More
