Simple, authentic and friendly. Good old Baeyrn style. Note: portions are huge, special thanks to the waiter who in a very tactful manner saved us from over-ordering, so we were able to walk when we finished)) good place and a firm 5 to you Kamerade.

This is the best venue for Bavarian cuisine in Garmisch. Took ourselves and friends for a total of 8. At that number, we did make a reservation. Dishes consumed included schnitzel (of course), swine haxen, trout and Bratwurst. Everything was very, very good. Speaking as...More

Simple and genuine German bierstube/biergarten. Honest "home made" cooking of German classic food. Kind and quick service. No fuzz. Dense and creamy tomato soup. Perfect Tafelspitz as well as sauerkraut cooked for hours. Recommended!

First night in Garmish and had a late dinner here. We had the half duck, boiled beef and schnitzel. Portions were large, but so good you couldn’t stop eating. Save room for the apple strudel. Amazing! Service was excellent!!! A must do in Garmish

A short stop to get something to eat, and we did not regret that 👍. Very nice and friendly staff. We had both the duck, schnitzel and roasted pork. It all was very tasteful. Unfortunately we didn’t get to taste the beer because we were...More
