Look German food is always heavy and filing, but if you drink enough beer it goes down just gine. Wanted a place suggested on trip advisor.com and this was it

Visited on a Saturday evening, having made a reservation earlier in the day. This was a good idea, as the outside dining area was full, and the indoor space was not being used. The menu is handwritten in German, and quite difficult for us to read, but the waitress was very helpful, and appeared really concerned to ensure we were... More

We love coming to Weinstube Vetter. It's a great place to go for a good German meal and a good glass of wine. The ambience is lovely. Just make sure you book a table in advance.

This restaurant in up on a hill in Stuttgart and has outside and indoor dining. Reservations suggested but we walked in at 6pm and were seates immediately. Menu is in german only. Our waiter was very charming and translated everything. I had an excellent red wine called Lemburger, we also had the schnitzel with potatoes and rump steak with sautéed... More

We had supper hear after the Stuttgart opera nearby, 15 mins walk or so away. Relaxed with German cooking but modern and a little lighter. A very good wine selection. It's in a fashionable fringe of the city centre, still central but with some big trees and old buildings to give it atmosphere. Important for me was that we were... More

Vetter is in a great neighborhood with a lot of outdoor seating in the nice weather. I would recommend making a reservation. To be honest, the only entree I've ever eater at Vetter is their Wiener Schnitzel, but, as I said, it's the best I've ever had - so why eat anything else. The Wiener Schnitzel is made with actual... We had a wonderful night out with friends as this cozy, delicious restaurant. Favorites on the menu include the risotto, pumpkin gnocchi, baked goat cheese, schnitzel and lamb. Everything is cooked to perfection, is seasonal, seasoned well and good sized portions. Wine is fantastic and affordable. Great for an intimate dinner with friends or a date. Dinner is standard, German... More

Had the spaghetti with basil pesto and Sauerbraten, which needed no knife for cutting is was so tender. A pleasurable walk from the Bopser U-bahn stop, down a steep trail and some more steep stairs. But, once you have a great meal, what better way to walk it off!

Michelin's "Bib Gourmand" rating led us to try this restaurant despite its slightly out of the way location on a narrow dead end street off the Hauptstatter Str. We had neglected to book and were lucky (on a Thursday night) to have the chance to share a table for four with another couple (previously unknown). Many others arriving after us... More

We live not far from Vetter and tried it one evening with no expectations and we were really delighted. I had amazing fish and my partner had a Swabian dish which he loved. The wine list was fantastic and it's quite a nice little place inside. The waitress was very cold, but incredibly efficient I have to say! We thought... More
