Lovely place to pop into and have a nice meal and drinks, local brewed beer. Nice and warm after a day around the Christmas market. Staff are very friendly and helpful as we don't speak German, they do have an English translated menu. If you pick the pork knuckle make sure you are hungry cos it's massive, could have fed... More

On a business trip, I came for dinner with 2 colleagues having checked the good reviews on TripAdvisor beforehand, and it didn't disappoint. This place is clearly used to dealing with tourists as the menus were available in English and the staff spoke very good English. There were two menus: one for food and another for the beer. Excellent choice... More

I highly recommend the Flammkuchen here. It's one of the best I've ever tried. Sadly, the rest f the menu is not that impressive.

I was alone on business, and Lehner's was convenient and had decent ratings so I decided to try it. I had excellent Weisswurst (veal sausage) with a fresh baked pretzel, along with a side of lovely Kaesespaetzle (spaetzle with cheese), and a large Miranda (orange) soda. The whole thing came to EUR 14.30 which I thought was appropriate. I really... More

Had good service on the day that I sat outside for a drink but, going there for food was not as good of an experience. While I had the flammkuchen (the original), which wasn't too expensive, a lot of the things on the menu were quite pricey. The food was okay but nothing special. For example, a salad is around... When staying in the town center, this is a perfect place for a lunch and an excellent beer. I had some Baden dish, quite nice, which i prefer, but of course you also could get some Bavarian Brewhouse food...

We were a group of approximately 20 people. Reservation was made. We get to the restaurant, that despite being big, give as three tables in a corner. People could hardly move. Then the odyssey begins. Already difficult to order. The poor waitress needed to take care alone of numerous tables. After ordering, another enormous waiting time. Some people were already... More

This place was just down the road from my hotel and I ate there both evenings I was in town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Generally quite young clientele but it felt like everyone was welcome. Excellent Shweinhaxe and pretty good burger too. The beer was great. I'd definitely return on any future visits to Karlsruhe.

I tried two meals, schnitzel and nurnberg sausage, it was fine, but I guess you can find more for the buck in downtown Karlsruhe. Not bad, but not exceptional. You can have a beer there!

On one side of a very busy Saturday night square managed to blag a table out side and the sat and watched the party going on while eating some excellent burgers washed down with a couple of steins of good german ale. Excellent waitress, in fact all the staff never stopped all night but every request was met with a... More
