We came to this place to have some beer during our visit to Heilderberg. Beer is really good. We shared a plate of Cheese Spatzle, which is a big portion. It was my first trying this dish and it's really tasty, the mix of the cheese and the crispy onions is great.

I have been here a few times now with colleagues and each time was a great experience. The food is tasty but basic German dishes but the beers are great and they apparently have the worlds strongest beer Vetter 33.

Super busy and full of Chinese tourists on a Saturday afternoon. Service was rather fast having the place such full. Four beers available... from decent to good. Quite nice prices compared to other Heidelberg places. Heidelberg is not exactly a beer mecca so this place is definitely recommended.

Stopped by solo without a reservation at 1730 on a Saturday night, seated immediately. Delicious beer -- the best thus far in Heidelberg. Definitely recommend the dunkel weiß. Super convenient to the altebruke and the table where I was seated was also occupied by a family of 5, kids ages 8-16ish. They also have English menus

We had an enjoyable dinner with friends, we shared a very large platter filled with several different meats and potatoes. My husband has already returned.

Another great German craft beer pub. Smaller and more intimate setting than Kulturbrauerei with some different beers. The Vet33 reminded me of a barley wine while the dunkel and weiss beers were all good and true to style. Schnitzel was schnitzel which I enjoyed. Great traditional schnapps too. Had a great time. Service was excellent.

They brew here on the premises. Came in for a tea time strong dark beer. At 11 percent in alcohol it has hit the Guinness book or records for strength. Excellent and I am not a regular with beer. Back in the evening for dinner. Bratwurst, sauté potatoes, and the sour kraut and a half liter of their 4.8 wheat... More

This was my second visit in 6 months and both times I took a native German with me. They were equally impressed with the menu. True German and regional specialties. And just a stone's throw from the Old Bridge. Their home brewed beer is excellent as well. Always busy with locals! You will likely find yourself sharing one of the... More

Brewhouse atmosphere. Various dishes were a bit hit and miss. Steak dish was definitely over done. Game stew was pretty tasty. Potatoes and liver dish was one of the better seasoned dishes. Schnitzel was pretty average. Those that had the beer enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow, but overall okay.
