This restaurant is very good but you need to book ahead. We had fish plates, steak and garlic chicken for the night. The seafood was fresh and prepared just right. With its tender and succulent meat made each bite a satisfaction. The chicken was tender and luscious. There is a reason why this restaurant is hard to get a seat.

My husband and I have a special affinity with Spanish restaurants - he proposed at one, and we have celebrated many special occasions with Spanish food. So naturally, we decided to check out Bodega Don Jamon for my birthday eve dinner. It’s good thing we made a reservation - it was a Thursday but the restaurant was packed. The restaurant’s... More

The meal is a real spanish food but small portions. They offer spanish cañas. The atmosphere is nice. The kitchen closes quite early and it is not possible to pay with Visa, Maestro or EC card.

It's one of my most favorite restaurants in Germany since my very first visit (more than 5 years ago). Very good wine; food is just great; good service and lovely cozy atmosphere. So I would definitely recommend it further.

I live in Walldorf and haven't tried every place in Heidelberg, but some Spanish places in the region, and I like this one most. Service is always friendly (also takes care of extra wishes), the atmosphere is nice and the food, especially the tapas (love the gambas, the pulpo and the chorizo), is authentic and good. Prices are not cheap,... More

I am a local of nine years in Heidelberg and a regular in this restaurant. The food is consistently prepared to a high standard. Pretty much everything is very good. The mixed tapas for two is always a great starter. The chorizo you have to order extra as it is not on the platter. Their salad dressing is my favorite... More

Vegetarians may have a difficult time finding something but the owners are friendly and will cook something up. The place is good for its ambience though

It is definitely the best spanish restaurant in Heidelberg. Food is delicious but pricey. Ambience is pretty cozy. However, getting a reservation is the biggest challenge - you need to reserve your table days in advance. Sangria was disappointing. For desserts, Crema Catalana and Mousse au Chocolat are a Must.

The food was delicous, they have daily specialities, an excellent wine list and some of the best tapas we ever had. The service is very friendly and helpful. The ambience is very atmospheric and decent. It's highly recommended to reserve a table, normally they are fully booked.
