My husband and I went to the Orsi for dinner and were very disappointed. Tables jammed together so that you had the feeling you would disturb the adjoining table if you stood up! Several of the tables next to us were also making comments about this. The food was very average. Mostly either over or under seasoned and very overpriced... More

Very traditional French cuisine. Perfectly exacuted! The service was very good with enough attention for the guests without the hovering one sometimes experiences in restaurants. Madame Orsi was very charming and the chef arrived at each table at the end of the evening. Nothing special or new as far as the dishes were concerned but very good food.

I realize vegan food is not their specialty; it's not even in their comfort zone. So yes, I do realize that having a vegan show up to a French restaurant is like having a bald guy come in for a haircut; you don't really know what to do with him. This said, if it's a very inventive hairdresser, he/she might... More

Traditional silver service. Friendly sommelier. Ravioli Foi Gras was rich and the broth was delicious. Beef Filet and wild mushrooms was very nicely done. Turbot was cooked beautifully, the lemon butter sauce was rich. Cheeses was enjoyable, so were the amuse bouches, especially the raspberry panna cotta with lemongrass. Family photos outside the toilets were interesting.

The food was unimaginative, decor stuffy, background music was trickly, service mediocre, none of the special pizzazz you expect for the high price and Michelin star. The chef was not there so maybe that was the problem. There are many better options in Lyon.

Is a very French-Lyonnaise traditional restaurant, but is what you want when you go to a Michelin star restaurant in Lyon. Service very friendly and attentive. Food is very good and excellently executed. A bit traditional lobster etc. I was with a small group of friends we decided to have a la carte, didn't try the big menus. All the... More

The meal was outstanding. We all had the Menu Gourmand. The escargot in a small tart with salad was simply delicious. The volaille de Bresse melted in one's mouth. A truffle risotto and morels in a cream sauce complemented the chicken perfectly. The mises en bouche were superb. We ordered the soufflé grand marnier. On its own this would have... More

quite a big restaurant with classical dishes like lobster etc. I was not amazed by the creativity, but what was served was very well prepared and of good quality.

Our meal took nearly four hours, with unannounced, delicious extras constantly appearing. Every course was divine, and the terrace setting with no music and a limited number of tables was conducive to gourmet enjoyment. The service was attentive without being intrusive. Worth breaking into the piggy bank!

Mean they can cook. For a michelin star (1) restaurant, no pretentions, great service and impeccable kitchen without lording it on the customer. Enjoyed it.
