Superb environment, service is great, food is freshly made and tasty, a real bistrot ! Not a bouchon lyonnais, but a good brasserie. Typical.

Me and my husband ate one dinner here an evening in March. We really liked the starter and the wine, but the main course and the dessert was so so. We still enjoyed our evening there, though, although I am not sure we would return.

We had the lunch menu (starter, main and coffee, which included a glass of wine if you wanted). Waiter was friendly, efficient, and food was of a good standard. Enjoyed the traditional ambiance and the food - I would recommend this place.

I'll start this review mentioning my disappointing and anger trying to get a decent food at that place. There should be a sign "Only French Native Speakers Will be well Treated at this place". My wife and I've been there last night and although our poor Frençaise we've been really well treated in France before. But not there. The staff... More

We had a really fun evening at Le Bistrot de Lyon last Friday. The waiters were really helpful with suggestions regarding local food and which wines to pair for the meal. We had a great experience overall. Plus, this bistro allows well-behaved dogs if they stay under the table.

I came here during a business trip and figure I should grab a lunch before heading to the office, what a mistake that was. First of all, the host, after seating me, took about 20 minutes to get me my water, after which, I ordered the chicken in butter sauce, which took them about 45 minutes to bring it out.... More

Found it by chance during a daytrip to lyon The location is cozy and artistic in its decorations and furniture The name suggests a very lyonnaise place for trying typical specialities and this is the truth Nice selection of meat and seafood;great quality in the dishes and in the service offered The desserts are superbe too

A group of us went here after looking at number of restaurants nearby. The main reason for going was the fact that it had a obvious vegetarian option for one of our group. We weren't sure initially as it hardly had anyone in it but it looks like we were a little early for French eating (1900hrs) as it really... More

It was a warm Friday last night in September and we got a table on the street. Around 9:00 it was packed as was the whole street. After walking back and forth and soaking up the character of the area we sat down here and were not disappointed. It was my 1st salad Lyonnase and was it GOOD! I think... More
