Found in the Halles de Lyon, this is a lovely stop to enjoy a truly wonderul meal. I had scallops, white rice, and sauteed vegetables (a little too overcooked for me- I like my veggies al dente, these were not, but still they were flavorful). Thought it would be a simple tasting meal after all of my rich dining from... More

We greatly enjoyed wandering round the wonderful foody paradise of Les Halles. We picked Maison Rousseau as they were advertising Moules Mariniare for 14€. I am so glad we did. I had to have 6 Claires No.3 as a starter. Absolutely deliceous. The Moules were small, but the sauce was so rich and tasty. Very good waiter. We loved to... More

We loved our fresh plump oysters from Normandy and the prawns that looked like mini lobsters from Madagascar . The whole experience was superb, fresh salad with salmon all washed down with some lovely Beaujolais wine. Our waiter was very friendly and we were warmly welcomed . Nice ambience in the busy Les halles de Lyon indoor markets. Look forward... More

The restaurant is inside the Halles de Lyon which is a 15 minute walk from the main train station (Gare Part Dieu) so easy to visit if only in transit through Lyon. We had to try the mussels and we were not disappointed. Tasted as fresh as if you were in Normandy. Of course, the food would not have tasted... More

Located in the Halles de Lyon market, this restaurant serves only fish/sea food. Excellent and fresh oysters, mussels, etc. Place is crowded, tables are small and people speaking different languages gather in the door trying to find a spot. Good relation quality/price.

Excellent range of seafood, from whelks, through shrimp, prawns cockles and oysters through to Langoustine and Lobster. Excellent service from a very friendly staff but the langoustine were overcooked. Local white wine was delicious as was my pudding which was truly marvelous

This is a must-go-to place each time we visit Lyon. The freshness of the seafood is unbeatable. We especially love the succulent oysters and sweet langoustines. The price is fair but not cheap. We found that it is better value if you order the seafood ala carte than if you order a standard platter from their menu. Only pity is... More

nothing has changed since my last visit 9 years ago. excellent crustacés et coquillages, unfortunately there were no "oursins" (nowhere in town btw) but the oysters and mussels were excellent as always. the saint-marcellin cheese we had afterwards was top-class. you can visit this ancient establishment even after closing time of les halles, and sit inside, outside or at the...
