I have been going to Aux Trois cochons for years every time I am in Lyon. I love the place and its atmospshere. I noticed that the A la Carte menu has reduced in size. The set menu at 17 euros et 22,50 euros represents value for money and its contents are taken from the A la carte. there was... More

We wondered down the street unsure which restaurant to pick. The menu looked good and we were given a table outside under the window. It was a great place to people watch. We were frequently passed things through the window which really amused me. the food was great quality form starters to deserts. We were very happy with our choice

Not a big place but very professional and friendly. It is a nice nice choices of traditional lyonaise food with inexpensive menu starting at €17. Perfect for either couple, family or friends. just no fuss but good food!

A group of friends and I decided to find a local restaurant where the staff didn't speak English nor was the menu in English. Thru hand gestures and lots of pointing we each chose a different menu item. One of the women in our group was trying her best to order mussels to which she received "Qui, Qui!" She ended... More

Having read reviews of this restraurant on trip advisor and in the travel press decided to go for dinner. The first course was bland my second course is pasta and salmon the fish was over cooked The food came out very quickly we'd finished the first course and the next course was there immediately. The food was of such a... More

You have to go some to provide a poor meal in Lyon, but, this restaurant achieved this difficult task. We went because they were recommended by Michel Roux. I was so disappointed. Everything was over cooked and the meals came so quickly you wondered if they had been pre-prepared and were kept on hot plates, which might explain why they... More

Our experience of Bouchons in Lyon has been mixed, but saw that this had been recommended by Michel Roux. It was well worth the visit and in fact we returned for a second evening.. Excellent Quenelle Brochet and Parmentier of Ox tail. Friendly service from different staff on both visits. Wine was OK, but not the best. The owner has... More

So that tells you something! Another great lunch. Excellent typical local cuisine at sensible money. Particularly attentive towards people dining alone. We noticed they are served promptly. Many locals dining here which is a good sign. Worth a visit.

Had a very nice meal here while travelling with business. We were a small group and the service worked just fine. The food was mainly local from what we saw, and what we all had seemed to be well enjoyed and wholesome!

If you wish to experience a bouchon, this s a good place to try. We opted for the menu as quenelle was offered which was delicious- rich and filling. "Upgraded" to baba au rhum for dessert- equally delicious. House red good. Staff friendly, sevice rapid and restaurant cosy- to point of being a bit squeezed in if busy. Worth a... More
