Everything was delicious, ingredients and textures well balanced.
The place is intimate and the service is excellent.
So we went to go see what the number 1 rated TripAdvisor restaurant in Lyon was all about. Well! All I can say is unbelievable!!!!!! A restaurant is not only about the food but also about the service. Let me start by saying that the...food and the service is at a different level and we can clearly see why they are rated the best restaurant in Lyon. Thank you to Pablo and his team for making our evening unforgettable.More
This small bistro is fantastic value. Only 19€ for a 3course lunch made from high class ingredients beautifully prepared. Service is excellent. Wine list was good value. You do have to be a bit lu ky as there are only 3 choices for each course...( meay fish or veg). Booking essential.More
I must say that the dinner Bistrot Orcia was the absolute highlight of our trip to Lyon. Each dish is delicious, the flavours are perfectly balanced and you just want more and more. Top that off with a bottle of one of the many great...wines which are offered, and you will be in culinary heaven.
The staff is very friendly.More
Adventure eating if you have no French. That said, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Classic French Restaurant with a very short food menu and a wonderful wine list. The food is a fresh exquisite delight. Add this place to your “Want to go”...list, you will be surprised at the price, it won’t break the bank.More
Booked this bistro after reviewing tripadvisor, I’m coeliac and wanted to be prepared with somewhere to eat so emailed the bistro a week or so before my visit, I didn’t receive a reply so got my hotel to phone them to see if they could...accommodate me. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, advising many of the meals are naturally gluten free and they can adapt some to suite me, at last I felt I could eat in a normal restaurant! The waitress we had was fantastic, we opted for the wine paring with the meal which I could recommend. We tried to book again for another day of our stay but they were fully booked all days. Most others in the restaurant were french which I alwsts think is a good sign. Give it a try especially if you’re looking for somewhere with GF optionsMore
I book for lunch and glad I did as getting a table without booking is difficult. The lunch menu is great value and everything was really good - some dishes better than other but everything was solid and well made. The produce used was fresh,...the wine selection really nice, the service was outstanding. In Lyon it pays to get away from the usual touristy bits to find good food - as the food served in touristy bits is most often really disappointing and overpriced. A word of caution - if you are approaching from the town centre get ready for a steep trek up the hill. If in doubt about your fitness levels it is a good idea to come here with Uber or Bolt - both of which work perfectly well in Lyon.More
Highly recommend the visit to this Bistrot. A real gem we found in Lyon. Every single part of the experience was to die for.
All starters, mains and desserts were exquisite, and the wine list gives you enough choice for any of the potential dishes...in the menu.
Just be sure to book in advance.More
