Visited here in the evening for dinner with four colleagues. Great atmosphere and very busy. The steak tartare was excellent although due to the number of large groups we did have to wait a while for the main course. Good menu selection and wine list would definitely recommend for an authentic evening in a friendly restaurant.

I enjoyed a steak in this place. However, I have a couple complaints. 1) The service was kind of slow since the restaurant was completelly full. 2) The place is a bit noisy, so it is not recommended for bussiness. Apart from that, I can recommend it for the food.

I had dinner at the Caffe Forte with friends. The atmosphere was very nice. The staff were very friendly. I had the antipasti plate and the beef filet. The food was delicious. The wine selection by the glass is not bad at all. I would recommend this place for a nice evening in a good atmosphere.

service was slow but the food worth the wait. recommended by locals. helpful English speaking waitress, gave us a green salad not on the menu no charge. good value. wine by glass is so much lower priced than in u.s. in proportion to food prices. great food . reasonable prices.

Good menu in a good location close to the river. Very friendly staff. Good value. You won't be disappointed. The restaurant is in an old building which was used by gestapo in ww2! So lots of history.

Good food at a reasonable price. Nice atmosphere. Good service from friendly staff. Our vegetarian colleague was well looked after even though there was no option on the menu

This is definitively one of the best brasseries at Grenoble from my perspective. The menu is sufficiently diverse and changes from time to time, and the food is very good.

Classic bistro-style place, loud on a Saturday night as you'd expect in the run up to the festive season. Food was tasty although a little too creamy for me. Prices are as expected given the location.

I have been to caffe forte for a kind of business dinner. Although I live in Grenoble for 3 years that was my first time there. The place is interesting, the food is tasty, the service a bit slow (probably because it was a bit crowded), the prices a bit high.

We went to this restaurant as four friends, and I think because of the prices we had seen, that were quite expensive, we had expected more of a fine dining experience. The food was nice, but far too overpriced for the quality we received. We were given sauce and mustard in plastic squeeze bottles, with paper serviettes from IKEA or the... More

Great food, good produce well cooked, friendly atmosphere. Can be a bit noisy. Not cheap (count 30€, 40 with wine) but good value
