We always enjoy our stops here, easy to get to for ski beginners so no problems meeting the family for lunch good food and not too pricy so one of our favourite stop off points. Nice easy run back on the green slope after the final stop for the day best hot chocolate on squishy seats by the fire. Good... More

Went most days we were in Courchevel for lunch to break up the day's skiing. Good value for the area and cheap beer! Lovely on a sunny day to sit outside. You have to book - plenty of people turned away every day without reservations. Friendly staff, great croque monsieur. Last day had the ski meal deal. Super buffet for... More

What a lost opportunity for the people who own this place. Great stop off it may be for ski schools, but does that make it a good idea to have staff who other than in very occasional instances feel it is optional if they feel like providing good or at least any service? Simply a rubbish experience. Here's hoping that... More

The Courchniege is a must to stop for a bite to eat, full meal or a glass of Verve. Lovely setting on the Bellecotte - outside veranda with log fire or inside for squashy leather sofas and a log fire. Always return here when we are in 1850 and have yet to be disappointed.

Best place for morning pit stop, great open fire. Also great for a wee warmer on last run of the day!

In the middle of two slopes. Couldn't find a better place to grab a bite and people watch. If only they had a broader food selection.

The hotel is beautiful and rustic, the staff are amazing and friendly, very helpful. Food is amazing and i congratulated the chef a few times. The hotel is on a green piste so perfect for all abilities, ski after breakfast then back for lunch and then ski until it gets dark. We took our dog who was left in our... More

Go for the buffet if you come here as great choice and value. Nothing fancy but good value for near the centre of 1850

We have stayed in this hotel for many years. It is in a wonderful location at the top of the Bellecote green run and skiing in and out could not be easier. We stayed on the brilliant off season tariff where equipment hire and ski passes are included. We also had a free bottle of pink champagne. Breakfast is extremely... More

Recommended by our instructor - and definitely a good one. We stopped for our mid morning chocolat chaud & lunch a few times. Best croque monsieur we had all week. Superb view & bonus of fire pit to warm us up. Lovely service too.
