Despite les bleues losing to england we had great food and service. Nice local wines...reasonably priced. Lots of choice by the glass

An excellent choice after a day's skiing. The restaurant is family run and the food is delicious, very much a hearty home cooked traditional Savoyard menu.

We took a chance and went to this restaurant across the street from our hotel. Even though we didn't have a reservation they graciously seated us...everyone else that came after us were turned away...lucky we arrived early. The food is basic and very tasty! The couple who own this establishment are delightful. The gentleman who cooks frequently visits the dining... More

Simply amazing place! We went there for dinner not long ago and it was superb experience. A couple who served food was very nice and friendly, food was amazing, very tasty, there are only a few tables and we had a lot of attention. I suggest this place in 100%!

I had one of the best meals of my life at Cousin Albert. This wife and husband team are serious about food. The service and food were impeccable. Definitely get the French Onion Soup and pour the port in, it's a travesty if you don't! ! I got the special, Chicken Tagine, that was incredible. Flavor for days, and leave... More

Ate here last week as the chalet hotel we were staying in give all staff a night off. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals - onion soup with port followed by fabulous entrecôte steaks (cooked to perfection) with pepper sauce and frites. The menu is in English as well as French if language is an issue. The wife who does... More

This place has limited seating and once all the seats are filled, the "Complet/Filled" sign is put on the front door. The night we visited there was a total of 18 diners including the two of us. The service was very good but not rushed. My wife had onion soup with port and a green salad. I had the rump... More

I ate there once and the food was fine. It's what you may expect in a ski resort, such as wooden tables and chairs etc. The only downside is that its always closed. I visit Chamonix 5 or 6 times a year, and sadly it never seems to be open. I would rate it higher if it were open more... More

This is a small restaurant, serving traditional Sovayard food run bu a husband and wife team. He is the Chef and Madam runs front of house, they are both skilled. The food is really very good, there is not a huge choice but we were 7 people and everyone loved their choice. The Chef served us a (free) a Genepi... More

With two jet-lagged children and tired adults we called ahead from our hotel a mere 100m away to ask what time they'd be open. They opened a few minutes earlier for us and we were seated and had ordered by7pm. They adjusted the menu on request and made our kids simple cheese omelettes and chips. I had a beautiful duck...
