We were really excited to to go L'Impossible. The reviews were all so good. What we found was the restaurant was very pretty and the service excellent. But the food was dull and boring. The pasta dishes had no flavour and were tiny and super dooper expensive. Even the wine was at crazy prices 50 Euros for a bottle of... More

This bio restaurant offers nice dishes elaborated from classics - is child-friendly and with lovely wooden interior that makes you feel warm and welcome

Visiting chamonix for our second anniversary I decided to do some research as myself and my other half are both vegetarian. Was delighted to find a fine dining establishment that gave actual choice instead of a token gesture like many places in the area. The restaurants ethic of using ethically sourced products was interesting and it's a proper family run... More

This is a lovely restaurant with good local art on the walls. Terrific service, quality food and gluten free options. After so many places that served meat with no sauce this restaurant brought home made gluten free bread! We had a terrific meal and enjoyed the music and conversation.

This place was unbelievable. We ate here on the last night of our honeymoon and it was by far the best meal of the trip--and one of the best of my life. Not only was the food delicious (so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly done), the decor impeccable, and ambiance fantastic for a romantic dinner -- the family that owns this... More

This is a great place to eat on the outskirts of Chamonix. Italian cuisine but very organic and natural preparation. Great soup and great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant when in the area.

A little Italian gem. Family run. Our group had a great time wine tasting with Laurenzo, learning in the kitchen, and eating eating eating. Great if you are gluten free, fabulous are not. 😊

The Chef and Sous Chef took their time in explaining things to us and we were hands on with pasta making and prep. Whilst in the kitchen we could see how they work and the ingredients used. Everything is fresh and organic - only top notch products are used. They are very conscious about intolerances and make gluten free bread... More

We ate here because of the menu possibilities for my wife who can't eat dairy or wheat. There was a great deal of choice for her and the food was excellent with plenty of gluten and dairy free options. The staff were very friendly and happy to serve well making it a very pleasurable experience. We had a superb puligny... More

My wife and I visited L'Impossible in July 2016 for dinner while on a more than 2 week trip to Germany, Switzerland and France. This absolutely was one of our favorite restaurants during that trip, and is one of the most favorite places we have eaten throughout our world travels. The atmosphere feels very much like the old barn/chalet feel,... More
