Visited on very hot June day with our dog. Asked if possible to sit at rear of side terrace where there was more shade. Refused on basis that food not served at those tables, but was assured that when sun came round to the table we were offered the canopy would be lowered. Were served with aperitif, then waited 40... My husband and I had the set menu which was tasty. Our waitor was lovely and very amenable, however he obviously had far too much to do so the service was quite slow. Overall, beautiful location and good food.

Sitting right on the lakeside in Aix Les Bains this thriving bistro has some inventive and delicious food available offering great value menus. I had veal in a delicious pistachio crust followed by a sorbet duo. Up-tempo music and a large screen tv showing sport add to to the fun. Lots of customers and a good ambience, attentive staff and... First impressions are good, nice decor, not too busy (which may have been an indication of its reputation in hindsight). We did book a table but were disappointed with the service and the food wasn't brilliant. Lots of leftovers. The fish soup I had was lacking a pice of fish or two, tasted good but rather expensive at 15 euros.... More

we really enjoyed the ambiance of the terrace. We stopped for a drink, had another drink and some snacks and had a beautiful chill late afternoon. Good service.

Ice creams look very good and are big - €8.50 for a Framboise Melba in a big glass, though service is a tad slow and no WiFi.

Lovely setting, excellent food. We had one of the set menus and all courses were excellent. The "refreshed strawberry desert" was the best I have ever had. Staff friendly and attentive although the waiter did forget to open the wine and water after bringing them. A bit odd we thought. Overall a genuine bistro.

have had nothing in 5 days that was not perfect. Flesh fish deserts, all ok. They are very friendly, and a super location.

but not anything to rave about..... a large restaurant with one ladies toilet that is used by male customers - do they not have their own to mess up ?...
