A group of 7 had a very nice dinner last Sunday. Got the table in the back so somewhat private seating, which was nice. Service was excellent, managed to translate the menu to English as our French is not even grade school level. 3 menu...More

I ate the Menu andn I was very much surprised (and disappointed) that there was too much cream on my food. Of course cream makes more or less every think tasty-:). Most people were French and ate sea food which looked very nice. Maybe me...More

After a desastrous dinner at pretentious 'Valrugues' ***** restaurant 'GUS' is a delightful choice in the heart of St. Remy. Delicious Dinner menu for €29, ample wine list and decent service, almost friendly for French standards. 'GUS' is a good!

Excellent little restaurant for a late lunch in the autumn. Sardines are good although leave aside the additional butter (not sure there is any need for this) but the sardines are really worth trying. The salmon main course was exceptionally worth trying and the sauce...More

We had lunch here. Does not look like much. We sat outside. Very nice meals. Waiter, a youngish guy, spoke English and kidded around with us. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a true gem among so many restaurants in St Remy. The menu is unique but with plenty of options. They even had a great burger. Who thought I would go to France and have an amazing burger! I also had the seafood...More

We had a fabulous dinner in this lively, fun restaurant. The local wines were exquisite and the fish was deliciously fresh and prepared with imagination. We enjoyed ourselves so immensely we were left beyond an easy taxi service to our hotel. To our surprise and...More

We had a very good meal here when we visited St. Remy. Location is right on the main loop around the city. The seafood tower was excellent with many local shellfish choices. Service as average for a European restaurant. Choices were limited if you are...More

The Cuisine is not run of the mill. We have not tasted a chicken breast on a squid ink risotto with fresh herbs as this one before. The Entree' also reflected the season.

Gus Restaurant was highly recommended to us as the best in St. Remy. We managed to get reservations for dinner on our first night in town and were not disappointed. The salad was incredible - such fresh tomatoes! Our entrees were all superb (pork and...More

Description
OWNER'S CHANGE In the center of Saint-Remy-de-Provence, "Chez Gus" becomes " Gus restaurant" with a menu enriched since the beginning of March. Shells, retail or in the form of seafood platters and the fish are always on the menu. But we find from now on some meat and varied accompaniments there. Not to mention of patisserie from the display. "Grenadian of veal with reduction of white wine and sage", "pig's filet mignon wipes honey and thyme, carrots and prunes roasted in the balsamic", "sole belle menuniere cut in front of the customer ", are a part of an elaborate menu. 31 Boulevard Victor hugo, the twins Anthony (in room) and Gregory (in cooking) attended by his wife Eliska, invite you in a merry gustative stroll.
