The fresh young rooster enrobed in a pastry shell and cooked on hay really is a wonderful dish! Everything about this charming restaurant was wonderful from the delicious French dishes to the kind and happy service to the decadent pastry desserts. We loved this restaurant so much that we returned for our last meal in St Remy de Provence.

Reservation for dinner went well and service is OK but the food wasn't as good as expected given the stellar reviews. We all enjoyed our appetizers (os a la moelle et foie gras) but my chicken en croute was disappointing, my husband's meat was good. Not bad but just not special. The worst was however the desserts. They are way... More

Attractive restaurant that was accomodating to a group of 4 without a reservation even though rather busy on the Thursday in the low season. I do suggest getting a reservation on weekends or during the high season. Waitstaff was good-maybe a little too excited but not condescending. Aperitifs were very reasonable; good selection of wine. We had the fixed price... More

Caught sight of the desserts in the window and then read the menu! Great place, very busy, we didn't have a reservation but a couple of tables were pulled together and they made space for us. Very popular with plenty of tables coming and going. Food fresh, very tasty and great menu choices. Service was very good, done with a... More

We were recommended to visit this pad by our hosts and expected quite a nice surprise from this place. Decoration is fancy, trying to imitate a bistrot but simplicity is truly lacking, the overall feeling gives more to image than to true spirit. When our glasses of champagne came, I started to feel my disappointment. Nicolas de Feuillate is a... More

Have already been there 3 times this year. The frist time we were attracted by the deserts on display on the side.. Food however is even greater.. I believe it is one of the best restaurants I have tried in the region. There is always a daily menu that allows one to enjoy the restaurants cuisine at an economic price... More

Incredible food. We had the Foie gras, beef tenderloin, and lamb. The foie gras is served as a cold pâté and is packed with flavor. It was very rich so we could only eat about half of it. The beef was superb and perfectly cooked to how we ordered it. The high light for me was the lamb. It was... More

Had a great time in this cosy little restaurant of St Rémy. Food was truly tasty and very well presented. Definitely recommend it for its duck! Only reason I'm not giving it a 5 out of 5 is because the staff were quite rude in several instances which is not acceptable.

11 of us stayed in St Remy for 10 days, we did a lot of self catering but on our last night we went to L'Aile ou la Cuisse. A wonderful end to our holiday. The best was the desserts. We were taken to the dessert display to choose our dessert after our mains. There is a lot of love and... More

We took the advice of hotel staff. This was one of his recommendations. Dinner was good, and reasonably priced. No reservations were required.
