We have been to Saint Raphael many times and have walked by this little restaurant several times. We finally made a point to dine there and it was an enjoyable evening. It is tiny and you do need reservations. We saw several people turned away and this was a cool night in October not the height of the season. It... More

My wife found this little gem of a restaurant on Trip Advisor whilst we were staying in St. Raphael. We turned up without booking but they had a table for the 4 of us. The food was amazingly good. It's a very traditional and quite small French restaurant but well worth a visit!

During two weeks we had dinner there 3 times. Nice and friendly service and very relaxed ambiance. They serve lovely slices of charcuterie and little grissini when you sit down. Try rosé with pamplemousse juice as an aperitif. The menu is small, but nice. Recommend the gazpacho and the tournedos or lamb shanks. Don't forget to try the local red... More

A proper French dining experience in a small, friendly wine bar/restaurant. I had a lovely glass of red wine and lamb cooked on the bone with a beautiful sauce. The only thing I would say is, make sure that your child is willing to eat normal 'grown up' food though as there is no special options for children. Fine for... More

We went there with two adults and two kids and enjoyed a very pleasant French dinner. Food, atmosphere and service is very nice and justifies a slightly higher price. It is off the main tourist stream, just go there and enjoy

due to the early season most restaurants are closed so there is not much choice. Food was good but far away from bombastic. Service was ok - my parents felt that it was not very hygienic but well, don't expect proper and clean places when you go to Southern France :-)

Small (9 tables) family run bistro in the centre of the town. Wife in the kitchen; husband being the welcoming and knowledgeable host. (Gaston is their young son.) Very well prepared and presented 'bistro cuisine'; all from local produce. A single course lunch: fine slices of salami offered to encourage the appetite, followed by perfectly cooked veal kidneys served with... More

We were staying in St Raphael and our host recommended this restaurant. When we turned up it was deserted, but we needn't have worried - it quickly filled up and people were being turned away. The owner is clearly passionate about food and wine and his enthusiasm created a wonderful atmosphere. The food was incredible. A hidden gem in St... More

A tiny, charming wine-bar/resto in the Saint Ralphael center. We were there a hot july evening. We just had an apero, dropped the starter and went for a main dish - a charolais tournedos. The charming and helpful waiter recommended a Cote de Rhone from Roger Perrin (29€) to go with the meat and this wine was really good value... More
