We booked our table at 7.30 and arrived promptly. We sat outside and after 15 mins we received our menus. Another 15 mins passed and nothing. We went inside and and asked to be served. They said ‘2 minutes’. Another 5 mins passed and we...left. What more can I say ?More

We had a lovely night at this gem of a place in the Old Town. The staff are really friendly and attentive, the food is great and the ambience is delightful.

This restaurant in the heart of old Nice was so fantastic! We had dinner & loved all the food. The cod was the best I had during our entire 3 week trip in France. The orange blossom panna cota is the most delicate & flavorful...I’ve ever had. The service was great. The ambiance was lovely. This is a hidden gem! We loved it & recommended it to other people who also went & really enjoyed their experience.More

The experience was not great, there was just one man serving who could not cope the the number of guests so we had to wait a long time for everything. The tomato tart was lovely fresh from the oven but the lamb main course was...a small potion and was like a bland stew, you had one and half tiny new potatoes and two French beans cut in half, when I mentioned it to the chef afterwards he said we should asked for more but why should we ! There should be a decent portion served in the first instance. Over priced and underserved that is how we felt on leaving. Will not be returning.More

My sister and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this lovely small restaurant in Vieux Nice. We were greeted warmly by the host and the chef, who came out to the table to suggest appetizers and entrees to us. The decor of the restaurant is...very pretty and cozy and the food was exceptional. The wine that was recommended for us went perfectly with our meals. We felt like honored guests instead of customers - such a nice experience!More

Very cozy place with excellent atmosphere. Food was great and also good selection of decent wines. We had two nights in Nice and after our first dinner here we decided to come back.

What an absolutely beautiful restaurant! Upon arrival, I was blown away by this quaint restaurant's decor and chilled vibe. They played jazz music and the tables are set beautifully and you feel like you're in someone's home! The waiter is fantastic and went above and...beyond for me when booking a table; because it was fully booked on the first time I tried to book, the waiter recommended other restaurants in the area to try. He then booked me in for another day and was extremely attentive and friendly. He recommended certain dishes and wines and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food itself was lovely - we had the French onion soup and escargots to start, followed by the rump steak and a lovely bottle of rouge Bourdeux wine. For dessert we tried the strawberrys and the raspberry cheesecake: again both exceptional dishes with beautiful presentation. Highly recommend this restaurant for a real French experience!More

A lovely homely relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and excellent hosts. We stayed in Nice for 3 nights and ended up coming here for the first and last nights, it was so good! The pork was exceptional and the mashed potato was the best we’ve tasted!...Between us we had the onion soup, the beetroot carpaccio, the beef carpaccio, the steak, the duck, the veal and the pork. All fantastic. Highly recommended.More

My husband has been going to this wonderful restaurant for over 18 years. He left Nice approximately 8 years ago but still visits his friends here when we are back in town. The food is great and the atmosphere warm, but most importantly is the...fellowship shared by the owners. We hope you will love this restaurant as much as we do.More

A few days ago we had a disappointing experience, when we found the restaurant to be closed, even though we had a reservation since long. A couple of days later we got a sincere excuse from the restaurant, with an explanation as to why it...had been closed. (This reason was apparently an unprefictable emergency situation.) We decided to give the restaurant a second chance, and this time everything was perfect! The food and the wine was superb, and the service was excellent. The restaurant offers a short but very good menue with a variety of meals at reasonable prices. We can truly recommend this restaurant.More

We had a reservation at 19.00 Tuesday night. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed, and there was nobody there. We knocked on the door, several times, and we called the restaurant on the phone many times, but no response. Other guests and neighbors were...also surprised, in a negative way. Extremely disappointing! In case there was an emergency which called for a closure of the restaurant, the least you could expect, would have been a notice on the door, that the restaurant had to be closed that night.More
