I don't normally say ignore other reviews, but ignore other reviews. Popular with locals and why would it not be, good food at reasonable prices, I suspect the people from the USA had a bad experience because they did not try and speak French and expected everyone to speak English just for them. The owners do not speak English very... More

It's a lovely small restaurant located at the centre of the beautiful old town on a busy street. This restaurant offers lots of fast food including Socca a French delicious fast food. We loved the food here and rose wine was really good. It's not very expensive so worth trying all they offer.

Considering how much of an institution this restaurants seems to be in Nice, I was expecting some delicious specialities nicoises. Yes, the food is super cheap. This does allow you to try many different dishes. Once I ordered, the food was literally just taken from the display case in the front where it had been sitting all day and was... More

A local recommended me this place for socca, I tried other socca places before ( like the one at the flower market) but although I liked it, it failed to impress my kids. When I tried the Lou Pilha Leva socca it was soooo crispy on the outside and soft inside -it melted in the mouth! My daughter ( a... More

A great range of tapas-style dishes and good chicken and chips too. You can eat outside or there is a little room opposite for a cooler evening.

One of our favorite places to buy food and eat locally. The food is continuously made, so it is fresh and tastes amazing. The owners are super funny and nice. Catch them in a good mood, you will laugh big time as you wait in line. A very popular place so expect some line, but IT IS WORTH THE WHILE.... More

We were lucky and came when there was no line and plenty of free seats outside with overhead heating. This was my first socca and it made me want to eat it again. The service was friendly and efficient.

This is a one stop shop to try all the local foods. It isn't the best quality, but the value of the food is good.

Nice typical "counter" to eat this typical niçois dish. It is a chickpea flatbread, typical to Nice and the region. Extremely busy, long lines to get your order. The menu includes "Socca" of course, fries, mussels, hot-dogs among other options. It is nice to have tried the socca at least once. The seating is in the middle of the narrow... More
